Sustainability is about reducing the impact of the built environment on society. Impacts on society are for example raw material extraction and consumption, land use, waste and waste water generation and energy use with associated emissions.
Main focus of SGS INTRON is on delivering high-end services with respect to sustainability in the built environment. Relevant competences include Life cycle analysis (LCA), services about the Construction Products Regulation (CPR, mandatory by 2013), Green buildings, MRPI, carbon footprinting, waste material assessments, leaching services,environmental profiling, laboratory and on-site services, certification and verification services.
